Bobby Ingals has been playing guitar since age 14. His best friend in the entire universe, Donny Skaggs, showed him the basics of how to tune, how to play a power chord, etc.

Bobby began listening to blues, jazz, and metal in order to expand his appreciation of music and to draw influence from different styles of music. Bobby's love of music drove him to watch as many live performances as he could for building his experience. Over the next few years, he started noticing that he liked to accent notes in odd places and odd times. When asked what he would do differently if he were given the opportunity to do things over Bobby said that he would have dedicated more time to learning techniques and theory. Despite that he feels that he does have a bit of his own playing style which has helped in his creativity and originality.

Bobby's major playing influences include but are by no means limited to:

  • Les Paul
  • Tony Iommi
  • George Lynch
  • Stevie Ray Vaughan
  • Jeff Beck
  • Jimi Hendrix.

Bands that have influenced Bobby over the years and continue to so include:

  • Black Sabbath
  • Jimi Hendrix Experience
  • Dokken
  • Dio
  • Tool
  • Deftones
  • Incubus
  • too many others to list....
